You Lost Yourself. Let’s Find Her.
You did everything right. Followed the rules, checked the boxes, chased what the world said would make you happy. Yet here you are wondering — is this it?
Deep down you crave something more — a life that feels deeply connected to who you actually are. But somewhere along the way you learned to hide. To manage your feelings instead of feel them. To perform a version of yourself that the world would accept. And it's exhausting.
What's missing isn't more doing. It's you. The real, feeling, beautifully messy version of you — with all her ideas, instincts, creativity and quiet brilliance that's been buried under the weight of everyone else's expectations.
I'm Katie Gosse — Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist, creative, and fellow work-in-progress. With 15+ years of clinical expertise and my own lived experience of burning it all down and rebuilding from scratch, I help you stop hiding and start living — fully, honestly, and on your own terms.
“The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.”

For 20 years, writing was my most honest relationship — and my most private one. As a secret journaler who struggled with imposter syndrome, I never dared share a word. Now I have a blog and a poetry book (yours free when you join my newsletter) — and I built an entire community around the belief that your words deserve to be witnessed.

For most of my life I was a repressed artist — convinced I wasn't creative, and my own harshest critic when it came to anything I made. What changed everything was giving myself permission to express rather than suppress. Now, whether I'm dancing, painting, writing a poem, or piecing together a collage, expressive art is how I process, connect, and find meaning — and an non-negotiable part of how I manage my own mental health. Turns out, I was never uncreative. I was just bottling it all in.

From selling jewellery (instead of going right into uni), to founding my own private psychotherapy practice for 6 years, to nowbuilding ContemplatingKatie — I've always been someone who’s created my own path. My latest creation is a postcard mail club that blends my writing, my art, and my love of making people feel seen (more Info coming soon).

“Katie creates the kind of space every heart longs for — safe, warm, and deeply supportive. I left her workshop lighter, more connected to myself, and reminded that healing begins when we feel truly seen. She has a gift for making people feel safe to show up with their whole heart."

"Most people spend their whole lives performing a version of themselves they think the world wants to see.
But radical honesty — with yourself first — is the only path back to who you actually are.
That's not weakness. That's the bravest thing you'll ever do."
-Katie Gosse
